Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I have my dog groomed?

Your dog should be groomed at least once every month. We offer maintenance discounts for regular customers who faithfully bring their fur baby in. Please contact us for more information.

Do I need to book an appointment?

An appointment is not required, but is preferred. An appointment allows us to allocate our time appropriately. Walk-ins can usually be worked in however, depending on the situation. There are certain services such as nail grinds that do not require an appointment. Please contact us for more information.

Can my pet stay with you the rest of the day?

Not unless it has been arranged verbally prior to drop off. Although our fur babies like to be pampered by us they also enjoy the comfort of their own home. Although exceptions can be made, for safety reasons we do kennel pets when they are not being worked on. Appointments minimize the kennel time.

What is a complete groom?

Luxury Bath, a full brush out, nail trimming, ear hair removal and cleaning, and glands expressed.

Breed specific haircut or a style of your choice.

Handmade Bows to Match Polish on Toes

Designer cologne – Gender Specific (of course) and Finishing Spray

My pet is very anxious...Can they be sedated?
No! We cannot provide any service to a sedated animal, as we are not set up to monitor them safely. We are more than happy to work with your pet so they do not need to be sedated to be groomed. In fact, we do reconditioning and specialize in undoing of past failures from unpleasant experiences. If we can’t handle your pet there will be no charge.
What type of products do you use?

We do not use cheap shampoos. We use top of the line in show products that cover a range of skin issues. We will however use whatever the vet prescribes if you bring it with you. We also use conditioners. They all are skin determined also. Some repel dirt, some strengthen hair shafts. All moisturize the skin and hair. We also use a finishing spray that has an SPF for sunburn because dogs do sunburn. Their hair will burn and change color just like ours. For more information contact us directly.

Is it appropriate to tip the groomer?

Tipping is never expected but always appreciated.
